General Informations

A new generation of PC based spirometers

form the core of the product range. In the development, work was carried out in close co-operation with specialists from several disciplines representing clinical physiology, pulmonary medicine, cardiology, medical physics, space science, applied mathematics and computer science.  /

  • Spiro2000 is designed to meet with the demanding requirements of professional lung function testing.
  • The user interface is graphical, and it emulates familiar windows environment.
  • The software is easy to install as it will configure automatically number of key settings, such as the serial port.
  • The operation is simple including patient data entry, measurement selection, test recording and data comparison.
  • The open database connectivity (ODBC) makes it simple to communicate with other databases, such as hospital information systems.
  • Spiro2000 works well on stand-alone system as well as in local area network.
  • The final report can be modified to meet the needs of the physician.
  • HTML format of the final report allows the operator to email the results to a recipient, who can view the results with a standard browser program.

    Spiro2000 uses Windows operating system and includes a choice for several (presently 13) operating languages.Spiro2000 is easy and fast to learn and operate. Spiro2000 is easily integrated with most existing patient journal systems with new SpiroXML interface. It can also be used as a stand alone system. Can spirometry be easier?

  • Spirometry Network
    Spiro2000 can be operated in a local area network. In fact it is presently the only spirometer in it’s segment with this feature without extra charge.The operator can add spirometer measurement capacity. The results can be stored with centralized patient records.

  • Localized reference values
    Spiro2000 includes several local predicted values. Presently ten different sets and easy to add more. The operator can select the proper reference, which will lead to better diagnosis.

  • Parameters
    Several measuring modes and parameters.

  • Real-Time graphics
    Spirometric data, flow-volume and volume-time graphs are displayed real-time on the PC as the patient performs spirometry test. All the necessary parameters are given after each manouver.

  • SpiroStar DX   / SpiroMaster MX
    The spirometer connects to the COM-port (RS-232) on the the PC. The system requirements are moderate.

  • Trending
    Spiro2000 includes full graphical serial comparison of the results. Operator can use the previous results of the patient for better desease management. Trend Graphs  show changes in lung function.
